All participants need to have regular access to an email account (does not have to be gmail). The links to each class will be sent via email each week.

A PRIDEbook will be provided to you free of cost!

Expectations

All participants are expected to actively participate via group work, group discussions and asking questions throughout the duration of all training sessions. Participants who do not participate will not be given credit for attendance. Participation counts only for those with cameras on.

Each training session is 5 weeks long with classes twice a week, attendance of all classes is mandatory. There are no make up classes.

In addition to online work, there is paper homework in the given workbooks.

Foster Parent College

In between each virtual session, there are self paced online clusters that are to be completed individually and are required in addition to attending the virtual classes. Before the beginning of the first week, you will be signed up to access Foster Parent College using a given email address.

Couples need to complete Foster Parent College clusters individually and will each need an account.

There are 4 clusters within Foster Parent College and all 4 clusters will need to be completed before the final day of classes in order to receive certification.
