Foster parents, often referred to as resource parents, provide support and services to children in foster care. Resource parents are trained and certified to provide respite and to be both a foster parent and an adoptive parent.

There are children of all ages and races, as well as those with special needs, who need foster homes. Special pre-service training is provided.
